Meet The Therapists - Lucy (Reflexology & Massage)
My Story

Hello, I am Lucy Lea, Reflexologist & Massage Therapist
I first became interested in Complementary/Holistic Therapies in my early twenties when I completed the ITEC level 3 Diploma in Swedish Massage and Anatomy and Physiology in 1998. I practiced as a Massage Therapist for a few years when my daughter was small and loved it. Unfortunately, due to a change in personal circumstances and the added pressure of becoming a single parent, I decided to embark on a career in education for more financial stability. However, I never really lost my passion for Holistic and Complementary Health Therapies and still made time to offer treatments to friends and family, attending various CPD courses over the years to keep up to date with any changes in the Complementary Therapy World.
After being made redundant from my ‘career’ in education after 14 long years, perimenopause hit hard, resulting in feelings of anxiety and depression, constantly feeling tearful and tired, all resulted in lost confidence and self-esteem. It was during this period of sleepless nights and never-ending anxiety that I reignited my love for complementary therapies and treatments again. My passion to practice as a Professional Therapist came back with a huge bang; I wanted to help people, particularly women, to feel better. I decided to requalify and update my skills and start practicing again as a Professional Therapist. I also completed additional Level 3 training in Reflexology, with a focus on 'Wellbeing for Menopausal Women'. I am a fully registered member of the CThA (Complementary Therapists Association) delighted to be back doing what I love and gives me purpose.
It is my belief that we cannot live a happy and meaningful life if we are disconnected and fragmented physically and mentally; that it is so important to look at all of the elements of our health simultaneously.
I use massage, accupressure and Reflexology to provide support with
-
Physical health: body aches, chronic pain, tension, fatigue.
-
Emotional health: feelings such as anger, sadness, or worry.
-
Mental health: depression, anxiety and stress, insomnia
-
Spiritual health: feeling empty, lost, incomplete.
My approach is tailored to the individual. I use a combination of both Eastern and Western methods and techniques during my treatments. Relaxation and soothing myofascial release techniques and deep tissue/trigger point techniques depending on client needs.

I look forward to treating you
Meet The Therapists - Debbie (Shiatsu)
My Story

Hello, I am Debbie Moon - Shiatsu Therapist

I am fully insured and qualified from the European Shiatsu School in 1991 and worked predominantly in theatre, film and TV.
I went on to undertake a post graduate specialising in Movement Shiatsu in 2007 and I have worked at Neal's Yard in Blackheath for 10 years doing onsite chair massage and also at Camden Market During my extensive career, I spent 5 years working in a residential care home for people with spinal injuries and cerebral palsy, where I worked on patients and staff.

Shiatsu is the ancient Japanese way to restore well-being to the body by harnessing the body's natural energy, Ki. Movement Shiatsu helps to re-establish the body's ability to heal itself from past injury/trauma or bad habits from poor posture and repeated misuse.
Using deep tissue manipulation and stretching to find the points of resistance and then enabling release through locking into the muscle memory and releasing the tension around the joints. This has proved effective for both acute and chronic conditions.

I offer 60 minute sessions only.

I am currently based in Eastbourne but also take bookings for mobile appointments and can travel to clients in South East London a couple of days a week Please contact me directly for enquiries and availability. You can find my mobile number on the contact form on this website.

I look forward to hearing from you
