Hello, I am Lucy Lea, Massage Therapist

I am a fully qualified and insured Holistic Therapist and registered member of the CtHA. I first became interested in Complementary/Holistic Therapies in my early twenties when I took the ITEC level 3 Diploma in Swedish Massage and Anatomy and Physiology in 1998. I practiced as a Massage Therapist for a few years when my daughter was small, and I loved it.  Sadly, my personal situation changed and I felt that I needed to get a full time 'proper' job to enable me to pay the rent and bills. Complementary Therapies were still seen as 'Hippy Stuff' back then, so clients were difficult to find.  However, I never lost my love for Alternative and Complementary Therapies and continued reading/studying related books and still treating my friends and family occasionally.  I was eventually made redundant from my 'proper' job after 14 long years. At that time, my physical and mental health started to really suffer, I also said a very unwelcome hello to the dreaded Peri Menopause. I was feeling, depressed, anxious, tearful, tired and had lost all of my confidence and self-esteem.  It was during that period of mental and physical ill health, loneliness, sleepless nights and never-ending anxiety that I started to reignite my love for Complementary Therapies and treatments again. My passion to practice as a therapist reignited. I want to help people feel better. I decided to requalify and update my skills and start practicing as a Professional Holistic Massage and Bodywork therapist, with a focus on Wellbeing for Women. I am so happy to be back doing what I love and helping you to balance your health holistically.

I truly believe that we cannot live a happy and meaningful life if we are disconnected and fragmented physically and mentally. It is so important to look at all the elements of our health simultaneously.

Holistic therapies can provide support with -

Physical health: body aches, chronic pain, tension, fatigue and diseases.

Emotional health: feelings such as anger, sadness, or worry.

Mental health: depression, anxiety and stress

Spiritual health: feeling empty, lost, incomplete.

My approach to massage therapy is  tailored to the individual using a combination of both Eastern and Western methods and techniques, using oils, creams or waxes depending on client preference.

I look forward to treating you

My Story

Hello, I am Debbie Moon - Shiatsu Therapist

I am fully insured and qualified from the European Shiatsu School in 1991 and worked predominantly in theatre, film and TV.

I went on to undertake a post graduate specialising in Movement Shiatsu in 2007 and I have worked at Neal's Yard in Blackheath for 10 years doing onsite chair massage and also at Camden Market  During my extensive career, I spent 5 years working in a residential care home for people with spinal injuries and cerebral palsy, where I worked on patients and staff.

Shiatsu is the ancient Japanese way to restore well-being to the body by harnessing the body's natural energy, Ki. Movement Shiatsu helps to re-establish the body's ability to heal itself from past injury/trauma or bad habits from poor posture and repeated misuse.

Using deep tissue manipulation and stretching to find the points of resistance and then enabling release through locking into the muscle memory and releasing the tension around the joints. This has proved effective for both acute and chronic conditions.

I offer 30 minute and 60 minute sessions for your convenience.

I am currently based in Eastbourne but also take bookings for mobile appointments and can travel to clients in South East London a couple of days a week or you can attend for a treatment session at the treatment room on Wickham Rd, Brockley SE4. Please contact me directly for enquiries and availability using the contact buttons below.

I look forward to hearing from you
